Handwriting development programme

  • In order to complete writing tasks you need to develop the underlying skills of strength, coordination and precision. This programme includes exercises to develop these skills alongside functional tasks

  • Worksheets and exercises are included in this programme to help support the development of letter formation, sizing, spaces between letters and words, placement of letters along the line, size of letters and page organisation

Scissor skills development programme

  • Scissor skills require hand strength, coordination and visual motor skills. This programme includes fun activities to support the development of these skills prior to completing worksheets.

  • This programme provides scissor skills exercises and worksheets. They are organised developmentally and a checklist of skills is included e.g. working from snips, to a line, to cutting out shapes.

Ruler skills development

  • Using a ruler requires the use of both hands together, coordination, hand strength and visual motor skills. This programme provides activities to support the development of these underlying skills whilst having fun.

  • This programme includes worksheets to develop the use of a ruler including underlining your work, using a ruler to measure objects, using a ruler to draw a graph or chart.
